JUAN MANUEL ESPARCIA
He was born on August 9, 1971 in Albacete, (Castilla la Mancha), Spain. He is an internationally recognized tennis coach, long considered as one of the best Spanish coaches at the professional level. He was awarded in 2010 as "Best Coach of the Year", for the work done with the ATP player Guillermo García López, who he helped to go from 97th in the world to 23, the best ranking of his career.
With more than 25 years of experience, Esparcia has coached and managed a large number of ATP, WTA and Junior players and has been of great influence in the "development of players" in prestigious academies around the world.
He has taught many specialized programs in player development, both in Spain and in other countries, where players from different nationalities have participated and he has always paid close attention to the promotion of tennis. Among these tasks, he has carried out hundreds of clinics and courses of international scope, in which he teaches his coaching methodologies, thanks to his "know-how", acquired through his multiple experiences.
In addition to a relevant professional career as a coach, Esparcia is also an expert in marketing and business management, for which he has an extensive international network of industry professionals. He has represented and promoted the image of several elite tennis players, as well as multiple soccer players and has also prepared different pre-season camps for international teams.
During these years he created a comprehensive consulting service for young players who strive to enter in the professional circuit, as well as for their parents and coaches, in order to help everyone in the transition through the different phases of the circuit.
Juan has also written and collaborated on articles and projects in several magazines and platforms, and has participated as a speaker and teacher in numerous symposiums and coaches training courses.
